Minister of Culture, Aileen Carroll, made an official announcement on January 29 at the Ontario Library Association Super Conference: "Knowledge Ontario, through its Resource Ontario project, is delighted to announce the databases that have been licensed for all participant libraries for 2009 through to the end of 2010. Thanks to the generosity of the Government of Ontario through the Ministry of Culture, the Resource Ontario committee has negotiated to bring the citizens of Ontario a diverse, informative and essential mix of online database resources." |
