On Campus Job Fairs
Our Part-time Employment Job Fair is held in
September in the Loyalist Cafeteria. Bring plenty of resumes and
join us! Last year students were hired to fill positions in almost
every department within the College. We also produce a list of local
employers offering part-time employment.
Our Annual Job Fair is held in February. At our
2004 fair, more than 178 representatives from 96 industries and
service organizations came on campus to discuss full-time, part-time
and summer employment opportunities.
Resume Preparation, Interview Techniques and Job Search
Strategies
Let us help you prepare for your job search. Weekly workshops and/or
individual sessions are available. Be sure to ask about our library
of resource books, such as "Resumes That Knock 'Em Dead,"
"201 Killer Cover Letters" and "Your First Interview."
Computers and a laser printer are available in the Employment &
Career Services office (1H16) for resume preparation and electronic
job search.
