Mary Tiessen works one-to-one with students with varied disabilities to identify and develop learning strategies and adaptive technology to assist them in their post-secondary studies. She is involved in outreach to local high schools students with learning disabilities; these activities include Loyalist College students with learning disabilities visiting and discussing their experiences, as well as SOAR tours and Student-for-a Day. She is a moderator for "On-Line To Success," a high school/post-secondary transition course for students with learning disabilities, offered through the Internet.   Mary is also an American Sign Language/English Interpreter.
