About the Program

The Eastern Region Academic Coordinator Development Program is a program that will help participants to develop skills related to the unique aspects of collegial leadership.

 

Intended Audience

This program is designed for Academic Coordinators who are interested in becoming more effective in their roles. Participants will experience collaborative learning, open-ended learning environments, and have an opportunity to share experiences and resources regarding the co-coordinator role.

 

Program Outcomes

At the completion of Academic Coordinator Development Program, you will be able to:

  1. Identify and assess team building approaches that support faculty and student success.
  2. Discuss and evaluate the role of supporting colleagues and students.
  3. Consider and select approaches to setting priorities and managing time.
  4. Debate and discuss the importance of delegation to collegial leadership.
  5. Set goals for personal change to address the management of stress and work/life balance.
